This was supposed to be the “New World”. When Tolgor Nelson and a few hundred settlers arrived 200 years ago the land was recovering from a terrible cataclysm. Hillsides facing the Guardspine Mountains were scorched lifeless and a thick layer of powdery ash had choked the once lush lowland forests. The 7 Leaf Elf Kingdoms had been decimated. The few survivors, now little more than savage clans, were locked in an ancient blood-feud. Each clan blaming the cataclysm on the others. Rumors of Mountain Dwarves and the Uruch of the far north surviving the Elves’ fate were soon confirmed by explorers from Nelson.
