Izis was born into a relatively simple family, growing up with a very religious mother and a father who earned an honest living farming and selling food stuffs to a nearby village. From an early age Izis began having strange dreams of a world she could not comprehend, a world filled with forests and many different kinds of people, not corrupted by demonic magical forces. These dreams continued for severals years, causing Izis to seek help from an elderly woman in the nearby village. The woman revealed that the dreams where of a time, long ago, before the problems of the world of the dark sun took roots.
Intrigued by the old woman’s stories, Izis started meeting with the woman as often as she could, eventually learning how to connect with spirits and learning shamanistic ways from the old woman. After several years Izis grew tired of her life on a farmstead, wishing to do something more for the world. With her dreams of what seemed like an almost perfect world in mind, Izis set off to wander from town to town, doing what good she could. Using her newfound shamanistic powers, Izis began searching for ways to shape the world into that of her dreams. Hoping that one day, the world could be like the one she dreams of.
(Skipping ahead a few years) Izis notices the smoke rising above the horizon, asking around and eventually learning of the town called Skalin’s Rib. Curious and eager to help anyone who might need guidance, she sets off towards Skalin’s Rib.
