Description
Bio
Goza – Arasaka operative brought in from Japan to Pittsburgh; callsign ‘Futago-Za’. Head of Arasaka Security’s Mid-Atlantic division. His callsign is the Japanese term for the Zodiac sign ‘Gemini’. Assumed to be a Gemini-package full conversion. Brokers a peace between the Samurai, the city of Pittsburgh, and Arasaka. Is the Samurai’s primary contact with Arasaka as they attempt to retrieve the data from Jeff Halliway. At the Meeting, informs the Samurai that their business is concluded and that Arasaka will not pursue them any more, and recommends they leave the city. (Appeared Sessions 8,9, 10, 11)
Bruce the IT Guy – ‘Matlock’, Fraternal Order of Police’s Netrunner. Paul’s principle contact in the Order following the death of Larry Reed. Developing paranoia issues given the number of bodies Arasaka has been leaving on the ground. Status unknown after a Militech hit squad answered his phone. Turns out he’d managed to get out of his place before Militech came calling, and at least survived that long. Believed to still be alive after the Samurai fled Pittsburgh. (Appeared Sessions 7,8,9, 10, 11)
Alex Hollis – Biotechnica Corp, replaced Knight after his death. Similar views on cooperation with Pittsburgh to Knight. Definitely unscrupulous, but in a good way for our interests. Sat on the Meeting as a Biotechnica rep, and voted to keep the City’s identity intact. (Appeared Session 9, 11)
Ichizawa Ito – Director of Arasaka Pittsburgh, voted to keep Pittsburgh’s identity intact and not turn it into a Night City clone at the meeting. (Appeared Sessions 4,7,11)
Tatsuo Ito – Ichizawa’s father; Director of Arasaka Eastern United States (Appeared Session 7)
Forrest Carver – Merril, Asuga, Finch, Pitt Development Forum, told us Business Development Forum meetings are in recess until Biotechnica and Infocomp’s status are determined. Abstained from the vote at the Meeting (Appeared Session 6, 11)
Greg Teryavich – Shadyside Hospital Executive (Appeared Session 1)
Carl – Pitt Air Ambulance, owes party favors, medivac’d Paul after he was hit by car. Also extracted the Samurai from their safe house as they fled the Militech ACPA squad. Successfully evaded the Militech helo and got the Samurai to an escape vehicle. (Sessions 2,3,11)
Chester – morgue attendant, owes the Party a favor, we got him licensed through Biotechnica to dispose of corpses; we get a cut of every body we deliver to him. Also provided the corpses that we subbed in for ourselves when we faked our own deaths (Appeared Sessions 2,3,11)
Percy West – Trauma Team Corp (Session 2)
Mario – Lorenzo’s mob friend/party’s contact with the Mob (Appeared Session 3)
Phillip Day – freelance ‘Runner based out of DC who hacked Bruce and got the data on the power plant for Militech. Cleans out Halliway’s files at the Samurai’s behest [at gunpoint). Shot in the eye by Paul to keep him from talking in Session Ten (Appeared Session 10)
Jeff Halliway – Militech Arms representative, brokered a deal between Terminal and Militech in a ‘Deniable Assets’ package to provide arms and armor for Terminal, and by extension the Samurai and the Order. Gains a copy of the data the Order pulled off the Arasaka mainframe and hides it, intending on using it to further himself. Shot in the face by Gorden to keep him from starting a Corp War with Arasaka in Session Ten (Appeared Sessions 9,10)
Doug Knight – Biotechnica exec in charge of their end of the Pitt takeover. Very much against the idea of working with the City at the start, although the Samurai’s actions showed him there was more profit in cooperating over the weeks as his bottom line plummeted. Hosed by an Arasaka Osprey’s Vulcan cannon (Session 6) (Appeared Sessions 1-6)
Larry Reed – Former Pittsburgh Police Detective, now a major player in the Fraternal Order of Police. Paul’s contact in the Fraternal Order of Police. Shot in the head by an Arasaka sniper in Erie, PA (Session 8) (Appeared Sessions 4,7,8)
Harvey – Corrupt Biotechnica who headed the project that sent Lho into cyberpsychosis. Batshit insane. Run over by an out of control car and pinned to a tree (Session 3) (Appeared Session 3)
