Velkmore was born in the city of Cranndearg in northern echos. His father Veldmer worked for the cainteoir na coillte (speaker of the woods). Velkmore’s deceased mother La’enada is mother to four. Velkmore has four brothers(when eythren have offspring they only have one gender some familys produce males some produce female.) The eldest is Valdmar he is a watchman of the the woods or Fraoiseclaíomh a high honor, he guards The Great Red Tree. Next in line is Vel’la who has not been heard or seen since the death of his mother. Velkmar is leaning to take the place Elshadar as one of the 3 scholars of Cranndearg.
