Child of a mid to upper level bureaucrat with the Zeltronian government. Frequent visits from her parent’s friendly and open collegues helped give Feigren a thorough knowledge of protocol, politics, and the workings of bureaucracy. Like many children of well-to-do parents, Feigren received training in dance, arts, social etiquette, and basic self-defense as part of finishing school.
Why did she start as a Scoundrel, not a Noble? The angst and boredom of youth and privilege. Of course, her parents could arrange an entry-level job in the government after schooling, but that seemed dull. Surely there is more to the universe than that? Climbing the rungs of bureaucracy to get to the good jobs takes forever (in the mind of a youth).
Feigren left Zeltros seeking adventure, full of romanticized notions of exploring the universe and making your own destiny. That crumbled as she found herself waiting tables and making small talk in a series of soul-crushing, wage-slave jobs until she ended up on Kwenn Station in a hostess bar. Smooth talking, good looks, and luck kept her from ending up in even worse conditions.
Being kidnapped by pirates was probably one of the best things to happen to happen to her, since then she met Dr. Samosa. If the pirates had not been destroyed, Feigren probably would have been ransomed back to her parents on Zeltros. This would have been the end of adventuring, and the beginning of her bureaucratic career.
The adventure and stimulation of working for Dr. Samosa has put Feigren back into a forward gear, instead of treading water. Increasingly, Dr. Samosa has given Feigren leadership positions in our plans, and authority over some of the other crew. This is reawakening the Noble potential in her.
