War is stirring in the west. The great Emperor Kabori casts his envious gaze to the mercantile city states of Reanaaria and to the undiscovered lands to the east said to be bursting with wealth and resources. The once-mighty Kalamaran empire is now but a shadow of its former glory and the ambitious Emperor has plans of conquest, plans of expanding Kalamar’s borders to encompass all of Tellene.

Brave adventurers seek fame and fortune along the Reanaarian coast, unaware of the looming military threat. They have allied themselves with Feledar Mokira, a scholar seeking artifacts and rare ingredients for his spells. He claims to hold the keys to all the knowledge they seek, to the location of ancient hobgoblin and twilight elf relics, as well as secrets of magical rituals able to penetrate the great sphere that protects Tellene from the outer planes.

What part does Mokira have to play in the coming conflict? What are his true goals and will he be able to make good on the outlandish promises he has made to our adventurers? Only time will tell.
