APPEARANCE: He is a dark skinned man in his mid 30’s that stands only 5’7. With an average build, black hair, black eyes, and unremarkable appearance he is easily overlooked in a crowd for just how “normal” he looks. His attire is most commonly a replica of a brown CSA uniform without any decorations at all.

PERSONALITY: Two parts spy with one part nerd mixed together into a single body. Having been trained by a very ruthless set of people in the art of survival he is not the nerd that he was before his recruitment into the Security Division but some traits still surface from time to time. He still has a deep love of strategy based games like sabaac, dejarik, and similiar games.

OBJECTIVES: Find and decrypt the rest of the message and use it to survive.

STORY:

Reddell was once a nerd who studied various communication methods just so he wouldnt have to work in his mother’s garden. From the old fashioned radio to the Holonet Reddell studied everything that he could get his hands on for years. He went to college to jointly study electrical engineering and communications. For three years Reddell obsessed over his learning more and finished two years earlier than the normal student. On his “off” hours he was a DJ on the radio for fun… and girls.

Eventually Reddell was discovered and recruited by the CSA Security Division. For five years he would do various security jobs like looking for bugs, tracing communications, and the like but he finally made his way into cryptology. A transfer order came through and Reddell’s first assignment was the encryption of shipboard CSA communications.

One day Reddell was given an order to join a team of three other CSA personnel to decrypt an unknown message. Because of the message being split up into three pieces and no team every talking to the other two Reddell never knew what he was decrypting. After days of work Reddell decrypted his piece of the puzzle and went home only to find his apartment and his girlfriend up in smoke. He hung around long enough to hear from the fire chief that an explosive placed near his computer terminal exploded when his girlfriend turned it on. Reddell instantly realized that his own people were after him…

Drawing upon his training, experience, and advice from veterans he had met Reddell knew to go underground and fast. At a nearby spaceport he had a set of false identities and everything he would need to go underground (including a copy of what he had worked on) and he went to pick em up. Unfortunately, a CSA assassin had trailed him and a fight to the death took place in a refresher. Reddell bought 10 tickets to 10 different destinations and managed to get out safely. Eventually, he found his way to the Crimson Blade. Being an honorable man Reddell did tell the captain from the last tour that Reddell was a hunted man but the captain accepted him for his expertise.

Since then Reddell has been going over the decrypt and he now knows what part of the message was, it was a series of scheduled delivery times. Using the one place and time he had available to him he found that the other two parts contained 1) account numbers and 2)places. If he can figure out a way to track down the other two parts he will be able to intercept large quantities of money being passed around. But whose? Why so much? Why was it worth killing three whole teams of CSA Security personnel? And can he trust the crew of the Crimson Blade to help him?
