Tanr was only a boy when Kalroc The Great came into power. However it wasn’t long until he started to feel the deadly and tyrannic rule of him. His parents skilled ninjas that decided to leave the realm of shadow and live in peace before Kalroc came, they raised a rebel army and went to fight but was defeated prematurely because of a traitor within their mists. The traitor that gave up Tanr’s parents and also the rest of the rebels was rewarded with money… however he was banished from the lands, reason why is Kalroc The Great didn’t want a traitor living within his walls.
Tanr hunted down this traitor thanks to the skills his parents taught him, woke him up and with his own weapon slit his throat. “For my parents,” he said as he stared at the dying man. That day Tanr swore to end the reign of Kalroc The Great. The hundreds of rebels that rose up only made his conviction stronger and using the money he took from the traitor, he uses to finance the new uprising. However he knew word would get out of the murder of this traitor. Tanr realized he needed a new name, an alias to make Kalroc The Great realize that not all were under his control. He would have to try and find a ghost or shadow then find a man.
Looking at the blood on the knife he came up with an idea as he wrote in blood that the freedom fighter RED BLADE did this and would rise to avenge the fallen. Soon word got out as the revolutionary RED BLADE killed the traitor and his body was hanging from the trees as a sign to Kalroc The Great that he would be hunted down. Every man that served him, every man that betrayed the people to him would be hunted down and hanged; and just like it was anticipated no one knew who this RED BLADE was, he was a ghost or a shadow being hunted.
Soon Tanr continued to hone his skills of stealth and be the terror in the shadows until finally he would make his move and go after the man that was the source of his vengeance, Kalroc The Great.
