A half elf just past middle age, Benley is a historian and scholar, and has been a member of the Keepers of Ostra for several years. He has a true passion for history, a good cup of strong tea, and hours of conversation spend on historical minutia. He believes in the mission of the Keepers, and makes friends easily, earning him many contacts in Sarta and across Ralidus. Benley is going on in years, but knows many of the locals and has contacts with many of the trading houses. He’s a good man to know if you’re looking for goods or local information. He has the run of a large, solidly-built two story dwelling in Sarta, Known as Taer Malley, which is dwarvish for large green house. It is, indeed, a large green house, which holds multiple guest rooms. It is a safe haven for the party while in Sarta, with a fairly well-stocked library and laboratory held on opposite ends of the first floor. An older native elf, Aelra and her daughter, Sandru have been hired to keep up the house, cook, clean, and run errands. His thin frame and auburn, tousled hair are a common appearance along the streets of Sarta.
