Edward Sidney Grauman, was born the into a wealthy, high society family in Southern California in 1891. Raised amongst new money and the booming social influence of Hollywood and all its glamor, Sidney naturally found himself at ease on the stage and in front of adoring fans … of course. He studied under the tutelage of many famous actors, directors and Hollywood elite. Money was no object and Sidney knew he was destined to be a star.

Of course horror flicks were all the crazy these days and Sidney found himself easily fascinated with occult themes behind these dark cinemas.
