A thin, well aged aged man who’s hair line has fully retreated from his head, Vallarian was a hero in the battle of Thornwood, where all his grunts died, and only a select few officers, and a warcaster under his command survived. Though suicide for the people involved his final thrust opened a way for the advance of allied forces right into the heart of Khardite forces.

Some feel his assignment to the Ordic boarder was a punishment hidden in a prize. The area is mostly quite with little trouble, so no reason to send a hundred men to die.
