Charles Wickham is 38 years old and a professor at P.S.U.. He looks much younger than 38. He is handsome with dark hair and dark eyes.He dresses conservatively generally in well tailored suits when teaching and a ceremonial robe when at The Starbridge Chantry. At PSU he teaches Philosophy ,Metaphysics and Logic.He continuously searches for awakened ones or those with potential to be awakened among the student body.

Charles had his awakening whilst he was a graduate student at the University of Michigan. He was helped with his awakening by his Hebrew Professor-Haim Rothstein who taught Charles the rudiments of the Cabala and the Tree of Life. Just as he awakened,Charles disappeared. At the time Mr. Rothstein worried he fell victim to the Nephrandi or the Technocracy or simply went insane. All means to locate Charles proved fruitless and eventually Haim despaired of ever seeing Charles Wickham again. At the time Charles was dating a woman called Aranna and she too disappeared. Charles found himself 7 long years (1998-2005) later naked in the Arboretum clutching at a mysterious intricately carved key on a silver chain.

Charles Wickham is obsessed with the key and what might have happened to him in those seven years;however unbeknownst to him he is going about his investigations all wrong.He is attempting to use logic and rationality,applying a system of logic to a world where the paradigms do not apply,but in recent years he has been getting closer by studying ufology,and the occult World of Darkness,but until he lets go of logic and methodology of the Scientific Method,he will be doomed to failure. He remembers the woman he began dating after his awakening and he thinks she might be part of the key to the mystery….he’s right.

Charles Wickham’s foci are as follows Correspondence: Book of Planetary Hours,and a list of Kabalistic correspondences. For Forces,he has an altar around a circle. When away from his altar and circle he may simply visualize it. For Mind Magick he uses a mirror and for matter he uses ice cubes a pot and a burner.

Charles Wickham is a member of the Starbridge Chantry located on Morrison Street. There he has access to a vast occult library for research and plenty of custos sleepers who attend lectures and aid him in his experiments and research. He is working on understanding the key. He has noticed that at times it will become warmer or at times emits a faint light. He knows that there is some magick to it,but nothing he is familiar with to his knowledge. Charles has a rote he uses to hide the key in the Umbra. He is certain that it is something that shouldn’t be openly displayed.

Charles Wickham mature is conniver. He is a user. If he can manipulate another to do something for him,he will try. His demeanor is Bon Vivant. He enjoys having a good time and he enjoys seducing women. At present he is a bit of a rake on campus,seducing pretty young co-eds when he can. He maintains his mundane life and owns an old house on 16th and Morrison just a block away from the Chantry. He makes his living teaching Intro to Philosophy and Metaphysics to undergraduates. He wishes to get his tenure,so his job at the university is secure.
