Bio

Thaddius Mershaum is a rather tall and gaunt individual. He is 50 years old,but looks about 10 years younger than his actual age. For the last 17 years Mershaum has been a Forensic Specialist for the city of Portland Oregon. As a young child he enjoyed capturing small animals and dissecting them. He would kill them as humanely as possible. He also had had an extensive moth and butterfly collection. His facination with vivesection and dissection brought on his awakening. He had insight in the cycle of life and death and suddenly the specimen frogs he was preparing for class became animated and jumped from the lab tables and escaped the labratory tables.

Unlike most of the Mages at the Starlight Bridge Chantry, Thaddius is rather social. He also posseses a sick and twisted sense of humor. He is known and mostly accepted by the Hollow Ones Cabal,and he has mert Willow or Michelle Goings better known as Willow.Also unlike the other mages of his Cabal he does not live next to or within the Chantry,rather he lives in an old house near the Morrison cemetary,but he often may be found at the chantry conducting magical research and attendding chantry meetings.

Thaddius works as a Forensic specialist at Multnomah County. He has a bit of influence with the police and within the medical community. He enjoys his work and it helps him with his study of Necromancy.His allies were once Arturo Giovanni along with Antonia Giovanni. Thaddius met Arturo at the Morrison Cemetary where Arturo was conducting his own experiments-At first Arturo wanted to ghoul Thaddius until he was made aware of what he was,and knew the prospect would be altogether too dangerous. But the two began to talk and share information. Arturo invited Thaddius to his mansion,and there Thaddius met Antonia.Despite the fact that Antonia seemed to be Arturo’s lover,Antonia gave THaddius clear signs that she was interested in him. The two had a rendez-vous, and thereafter, the two began a romantic relationship. Arturo did not mind so long as Antonia is ready to assist him when he needs an assistant. Afterall Arturo is no longer interested in sex at least for gratification purposes,rather for magickal purposes and Antonia is a talented vessel.

In recent nights, Antonia has come to Thaddeus nearly dead and told Thaddeus a mysterious lightening flash woman killed her Domitor Arturo,she called her an Assamite-another type of vampire and begged Thaddeus to help her. Thaddeus has hid Antonia at his house where he helped her recover from her extensive injuries. Thaddeus has helped smuggle Antonia out of the city after she was recovered enough to do so,and is beginning to do his own research into the incident. The Giovanni’s owe Thaddeus a favor for rescuing a valued servitor.
