Bio
Viki Choi grew up on the streets of Portland daughter of immigrant parents. But China Town was a wonderful magical place all the same,and Viki soon found out there was more to learn on the streets than in the classroom. She performed well in school usually obtaining straight A’s yet she began to hang out with the Chinese gangs and the bad boys-that’s where the excitement was. In an attempt to curb her truancy and get her off the streets her parents enrolled her in Martial Arts classes after school. It was there that she found her true calling. She attended school regularly and became very disciplined. She was able to graduate high school two years early.
Her master was a visiting instructor from San Francisco named Hi-Ling. Viki Awakened one day as a result of prolonged fasting and holding positions as she suddenly felt a blast of light energy and light fill her from within. She has continued her studies since,and has recently discovered Kubuki theatre and hopes to find a way to adopt what she has learned to this ancient art form.
Viki Choi has become an instructor herself in Martial Arts and has a gym/dojo in the basement of the Starbridge Chantry where she teaches beginning to intermediate martial arts. The dojo is her sanctum where her magick happens. On each of the walls are chinese symbols of her true name which is a Dominion Rote (Mind 2 Prime 1) While there her presence magnifies ten fold and her word is law. It acts much like the vampiric majesty and dominate disciplines.
Her Foci are her kitana-razor sharp,her headband and incense. She has a small temple in a separate room where she meditates and performs her magick. Despite no longer living in China Town, she is protective of it,and visits her mother and father at least three time a week. They own a small tea shop there.
Viki Choi is a petite Asian girl who stands 5’ 3" tall and is in her late teens. Viki usually dresses in loose-fitting clothing even when she is not practicing or teaching,otherwise she wears a robe or kimono. Outside the Dojo she usually lets her blue-black hair fall to her waist,or holds it back with a silver headband.
Viki Choi feels very strongly that ascension is ultimately a personal journey and that the notion of an ascension war is a contradiction of terms. Each person must find their own way. Viki hopes to guide people to whichever path works best for them.
