Moruga Scorpion is the daughter of a beautiful Suli mother, who she looks almost identical to, and child to an adopted Suli father that was a Monk. She does not know her father by blood and for his sake she hopes to never meet him. Moruga overheard her parents talking late one night when she was young, finding out that she was actually the product of a vicious rape on her mother by group of Gnomes from the under dark. She vowed from that day never to let anything hurt her beloved family or friends again. In her early teens, her Suli father left to fulfill his life’s vow in a far away and remote monastery. She has not seen him since, but is hopeful that when his service to the monastery is through that she will one day see him again. This put a huge financial strain on her mother and her mother was forced to find work anywhere and everywhere. She worked from sun up to sundown. This left Moruga the caretaker and nurturer of the family. At home she cared for her brothers and sisters while spending much of her time in the study of the martial arts her father had taught her since birth and in the languages of the world. It was always her dream to leave the poor district and see the rest of the world.
Unfortunately this never happened, things got worse financially for their family. One day while at the market, a noble town official addressed her. He told her that he had seen her for months coming to the market and barely able to pay for the food she came for. He also noticed that she was able to speak most of the languages of the foreign merchants. In seeing this he offered her a task that involved writing a document and forging the signature in order for him to become the sole heir of great wealth. Once she had completed this task he had many more for her. The word spread about her successes and she found herself in more dangerous and more dangerous situations. Unfortunately she was in way over her head and sought the help of her siblings to do some of the mundane work for her while she did all the “heavy lifting”. This did not turn out as planned. Many times they were caught and beaten and tortured for it. Because of her love for her brothers and sisters she was always able to get them to safety. This almost always came at the price of her being caught and taking the punishment for all of them. Although caught many times she was unable to stop this life style. The money she was able to bring to her mother kept her mother at home with her youngest siblings but she was in so deep with all the wrong people that there appeared no way out of this lifestyle
One day a man Name Sir Balin approached her and asked her to perform a task for her that was ethically against all her beliefs and the results would leave many people dead. Sir Balin was acting in secrecy, as not to expose himself, but now Moruga knew of his plans the only steps he could make were to have Moruga imprisoned to keep her quite.
Moruga was able to escape the prison when falling upon a man named Thorn who welcomed her and cared for her wounds. He too asked for her to complete task for him and to prove her loyalty to him.
