Bio
Appearance
Drusilla is a seven foot tall, heavily muscled slave woman. Drusilla is an imposing figure with an athletic body-builder’s physique but a surprisingly gentle and honest face. She wears her dark, glossy hair long and braids it before entering the arena.
Background
Drusilla’s mother, Korinna, was a pirate aboard The Dishonoros (so-named because the pirates made their hideout at the mouth of the Lo River in the Honoros Forest). The Dishonoros had a long and storied history of piracy against the merchant vessels of Thales and the sea elf colonies of Maleth and Massallia. But their luck was not to last forever.
The sea elves launched a concerted campaign to rid their waters of the dreaded band of pirates and The Dishonoros’ hideout was attacked and destroyed. The Dishonoros was defeated in battle, but managed to escape and limp away to the east. The pirates were lost at sea for many, many weeks but were afraid to return west.
They were attacked again by elves from Keekee Springs and driven onto the Ipippi Reef and marooned. Korinna was among the few survivors who was taken alive. The infamous pirate made a very attractive prospect on the slave block and soon found herself owned by the Unseelie Crown and destined for The Colosseum and life as a gladiator – despite the fact that she was pregnant.
Born in the slave pens at The Colosseum, Drusilla was raised by slaves and gladiators. As a young child she was put to work in the kitchens, and later cleaning the blood and limbs from the arena floor (often after her mother’s deadly bouts). With the advent of her teenage years, Drusilla developed her epic physique and was quickly groomed as a gladiator.
Korinna the Pirate, was beginning to slow down, age finally catching up with Ishtaduk’s favorite gladiator. Blood-thirsty fans have long been craving the day when Korinna’s own daughter would take to the sands herself…
