A young summoner from Orso
Alvaro is a young and rather disgruntled 20 something year old yearning for a better life for himself. Both his parents are dead and now his rather brackish Uncle, who wants to have nothing to do with him, is his legal guardian. His parents used to run a small shoppe for the sale of magical goods and trinkets. While they maintained the standard magical shoppe fair; orbs, wands and such; their specialty was in summoning goods like vessels for binding creatures and materials for complex rituals. Such was Alvaro’s upbringing that he learned from a young age about the ways of the summoner. Although he does not possess the gift Alvaro has been brought up to recognize the supernatural, especially with matters pertaining to the occult. Alvaro’s uncle does not appreciate the occult quite as much as his parents did and has suppressed his study of the subject as best he can. Although Alvaro hasn’t been able to do any summoning or invoking since his parents death, he has been studying his parents old enchanted summoning book. The pages of the book always appear to contain the most appropriate subject matter for the situation at hand (around his uncle it almost always appeared to be about trade and mercantilism). Alvaro has an injured left arm that he prefers to keep tightly wrapped and slung snugly to his chest in an effort to curb the pain. He is very deflective about the nature of the injury and not even those close to him know what actually happened to it.
