Once commander of the Umbraforge, Yalnon Teeg was a half-elf swordsman who seemed able to compel Vampire Lords to his obedience, possibly through the use of a magical silver torc he wore around his neck.

When the Paragons captured him alive for questioning, the Warforged who were guarding him activated some kind of mystical fail-safe mechanism. The silver torc turned into liquid fire and melted through his neck, killing him.
