(Yes, this is short. A.) I’ve been typing at this for three days and want to put something up, and b.) There’s ten thousand Terrestrials on the Blessed Isle, I can give Cliffs Notes when dealing with one.)
Born into House Tepet during its heydays at the end of the 6th century RY, Tepet Kiemi graduated from the House of Bells with full honors. She rode out with the Wyld Hunt dozens of times over the course of her life, earning in her service the sobriquet “TO BE FILLED IN LATER WHEN I HAVE A GOOD IDEA.”
Although she retired from the Hunt and the reserves of Tepet Legions at the relatively young age of 180, she was called forth to deal with two Solar Anathema, and was almost called up to deal with a third. A few of the more bitter of her relatives mutter that her stubbornness in refusing to face the Bull of the North contributed to their house’s fall, or even tipped the scales outright.
She had descendants to look after, though, and when not tending to her descendants in an almost unseemly familiar way, she enjoyed a life of some wealth and privilege as suited one of her descent. She has lost some political clout with the collapse of her family, and while her coffers have not been closed to its rebuilding, it seems that they aren’t open enough. Anything more, she says in her defense, and they’d be wringing blood from her, not jade.
Recently, her palatial manse on the Blessed Isle was destroyed in a geomantic mishap; As it will be years before it is repaired, AWESOME TITLE HERE has decided to take something of a sabbatical from the Isle, leading her to a place that the Great Houses hear whispers about, but nobody has the jade to finance an expedition to look at: The Patropolis of Hatiq.
