Torinn

Description

Raised in small town on the outskirts of a the big keep of (name a big town here). Torinn lived a rather plain and basic life. His family wasn´t rich by any stretch of the word. But the family made do and Torinn was quite happy to help and doing much more than any kid of his age would.
Then one day it all changed…Through a series of strange events Torinn found himself putting himself at risk to save a thin, rather gaunt looking boy. Being a rather big boy Torinn managed to scare them off, but not without taking a good beating himself. Few days after that event it became clear that the gaunt boy was the son of the Lord of the area, and the thugs were trying to capture him to put pressure on the Lord himself.
Torinn got abundantly compensated and his family truly had it much better following the event. On top of that Torinn, met the boy again and they soon became the closest of friends. The young boy aspired to become a strong wizard like his father, and spent much of the time with magic tutors and in the library. Torinn usually got to tag along, and managed to learn abit on magic in the process. The lords son always pushed himself to the limit, Torinn didn´t really show any real potential in wizardry. The lord‘s son started pushing Torinn more and more until he had started to put him in dangerous situations that might push his potential to the surface(according to him). Torinn did everything in his power to try to manifest his own power. In one rather dangoures situation Torinn felt something, he felt a pull of power, but the approach to that power was way different from what he had been taught by the wizards. When he told his friend about this, his friend got very excited and pushed him to dive straight into this newfound pool of power. Torinn was very sceptical to follow his guideline seeing the depth of newly percieved power. But after constant nagging and the constant feeling of being a failiure, unable to manifest any real power, he accepted.
Torinn didn´t really know what happened but when he came to, the whole room they had been in was disolving away in a thick coating of acid. He was horrified when he noticed the remains of his friends slowly leaking away. Somehow Torinn remained unharmed by this.
The rage of Lord was horrific. He totally snapped and slaugthered Torinn‘s entire family and hanged their bodies for all too see. They were claimed to be agent of the devils and Torinn who had managed to run to the woods was helpless to do anyhting but watch from a distance.
Torinn swore vengence, but knew he couldn´t do anything right now…he had to gather sufficient power to be able to face the Lord. So on he went…in search of adventure and more importanlty POWER

Bio


History


Surprisingly little is actually known about the Dragonborn who calls himself Torinn. He one day showed up in Little Priis looking for mercenary work. After demonstrating amazing arcane prowess he was offered a spot running with the Ironsides and has been with them ever since.
His allies have learned to depend on him, but still remain uneasy about his past which he still keeps under tight wraps.
