Shockwave has been referred to as “a computer on legs.” This is not far from the truth. Logic rules Shockwave’s thought processes and is the source of his every inspiration. He sees emotion as a weakness and a distraction. His cold and calculating modus operandi is supported by his frightening and exceptionally powerful form.
Shockwave is possibly even more powerful than Megatron. Perhaps logic may one day dictate that the time to replace Megatron’s flawed, emotion-fueled rule is at hand. After all, the only logical choice for Decepticon leader would be Shockwave himself.
+/- 650.000 BCE (During the Great War)
SHockwave forsaw an energon crisis between the two warrior factions on Cybertron. Logically thinking it would eventually become a war for resources, he made his own plan; to see planets with energon, and harvest it on a later date. He called this project Regenesis. He loaded specifically created energon samples on warheads and sent them out to other planets. He also knew Megatron would not approve of this plan, as this project would put Shockwave in control of the balance of power.
+/- 8000 BCE (During the Great War)
Spotlight: Shockwave – Shockwave leaves the Decepticons to travel to one of the seeded planets where he needed to stabilize the energon. Without that, it would spiral out of control. Doing his thing, and noticing that the planets’ inhabitants are dying because the planet is heating up, and considers the evolution of his own race.
When he’s done, he calls for his ship, but it doesn’t respond. Shockwave is surprised by a group of Autobots bouncing down to the planet; the Dynobots. They immediatly attack him, and Shockwave is overwhelmed. After the Dynobots pound on him, shoot him, and blast missiles at him, Shockwave’s processor goes into overdrive, evolving. His counter-attack is destructive, as one by one he knocks out each of the Dynobots, and eventually blasts away the protective shells they have around them, forcing them all to go into stasis.
Shockwave was surprised again, as a blast from the Dynobots’ ship caused a nearby volcano to erupt, burying both Shockwave and the Dynobots in layers of magma.
