Description

The Mark III was the standard UNSC body armor before the Mark IV was developed. It is a tried and true rugged suit that has seen more than a few UNSC personnel though tough times. It has night vision, a camel back, built in lights, long range comm systems, compass, fast tex removable armor plates, and shields. It is a full articulated EVA suit that can protect from almost any environment. Some soldiers (mostly old timers) prefer these as they have a proven track record of reliability. It is still issued to combat units due to surpluses, but only to units not expected to be on the front line.
