Novak enjoys the chaos of a boarding party. Lives for the loot. Novak shoots first and rarely ask questions.

Things went bad one time and Novak got arrested and shipped off to a floating hell hole to either be reformed or die quietly. Novak was never the type to do anything quietly. He broke out with the help of a new friend.

After getting out of the system they booked passage on a ship. Once the ship was in jump space they, Novak mostly, killed the command staff of the ship and subjegated the remainder.

With a new ship and crew and the universe as his oyster Novak prepared once more for a life of adventure.
