Meet & Greet


Okay, Runners.

Here’s the gist. Your PCs have all at least heard of each other (which alias is up to you) after working the shadows of Seattle for the better part of a year. Maybe you’ve even met somewhere before. Maybe not in person but that’s a minor detail. Maybe you’ve pulled a run together previously.

Whatever the case, you’re due to be face to face with each other in 24 (game time) hours. You’ve been called for a job and you took it.

Tell me how you know each other. Then, give me detais. Was that job you ran together successful or a catastrophic failure? Have you exchanged heated messages on ShadowSea? Did you see each other across the room at a local club or bar? Maybe shared grievances over a drink or two?

Everyone should have a tie to at least one other PC. More is fine, too.


Can we get a little info here about the other characters to help make the connections a bit easier? Stuff that each our characters would know, I mean, not necessarily full detailed biographies. Stuff that will help the others know roughly what we are and what we can do so we can better make connections. I’ll go ahead and throw mine out first.

My character runs under the name Argent and he’s a hermetic mage. He’s a bit of a jack of all trades and he’s done a pretty fair variety of runs to your knowledge. He’s not one of those sorts of magicians who only blows shit up. You all know he’s pretty new to the streets, only been in the shadows for a few months, though you’ve all heard pretty reliable rumors (probably from Smiley, that chatty twit) that he’d been doing similar stuff when he was on the right side of the law.


Not sure yet how Iris would be tied to the other characters. She gets out a lot, so she could see them at the firing range or a club, or she could easily have patched up somebody’s bullet wound.

Since I don’t know when I’ll be able to participate in the hangout sessions, I probably won’t be there for the first job. If the job goes on long enough, I might be able to jump in before the end.
