A young Elven ranger from the Corrodale Forest, Davkas Darksbane hails from a minor noble family. His mother was the Baroness of the town of Mistbranch and he was well liked in the house hold. After his mother’s murder, Davkas entered the world to search for his eldest brother and bring him home to claim the Barony.
Davkas is the youngest of four children. His eldest brother, Graendithas Darksbane, left to seek fame and fortune in the wider world. His brother trained as a paladin of Carriellana and went to do his goddess’ work in the world.
Next is his sole sister, Loraerris. She is a skilled mage and teaches at the new Mage Academy in Thunaar. Then is his brother Ricgeon. Whilst not the black sheep of the family, Ricgeon is somewhat distanced from the rest of House Darksbane as he is a fey-pact warlock. He actually busys himself with the day-to-day runnings of the House and has a silent respect from the township.
Davendithas Darksbane was the old Baron of Mistbranch. He died shortly after Davkas was born, being killed in a raid against the goblin cheiftan Erghut Necksnapper. Graceatis Darksbane was his mother. She was murdered three years ago by an unknown assailant for reasons unknown. Loraerris was in Thunaar at the time and has not been informed of her mother’s death. Davkas and Ricgeon were taking part in a raid against a goblin settlement near Mistbranch at the time. Ricogeon has taken it upon himself to investigate the murder, whilst it was decided that Davkas would inform Loraerris of the murder and hunt out their lost brother Graendithas so that there is a Baron for Mistbranch.
