Reg Miller is a company commander with Phairhold Security and is based out of Utah. He is a highly competent soldier and a good leader to the men and women under his command. Reg has a strong sense of honor and feels a duty to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Over the history of his career with Phairhold, he has received several commendations and has proven himself to be extremely dedicated to his job and his people.
Reg has historically had a bad habit, like many soldiers, of unwinding by overindulging a bit with alcohol (never hard drugs,) but it has never affected his job performance. Captain Miller also has a well-known weakness for beautiful women. He has been with several women, but rarely for more than one night.
One evening at the bar, he picked up a tall, lovely, and very young red head named Kairess. He fell for her almost instantly. After she left him in the night, he feared he would never see her again. Instead of being glad he dodged a bullet, he fell into a melancholic mood. When she reappeared on his doorstep several days later, he knew he could never let her go. When she asked him for his help to clear her name and the name of her friends in a terrorist attack, he offered his help without hesitation. He risked his life and the lives of his subordinates to help her, but it turned out well since they captured a mass murderer in the process.
When the two parted too soon not long after, Reg felt a niggling guilt that Kairess was too young for him, but he couldn’t bring himself to give her up. Every time she called for an outlandish favor, he helped her without asking why. When she tearfully called him and tried to “let him go,” he dropped everything to go to her. He wooed her anew and won her love.
When Kairess put Reg in danger and he was forced to flee across the wilds to get to her, he forgave her. When she told him about an extremely dangerous situation she had inadvertently involved him in, he volunteered to go with her and her alarmingly dangerous friends because she begged him not to leave her, and he could not imagine going on if something happened to her.
