With Slaughtergarde now under the surveillance of Paladins and the security of your mining claim in order, a return to the vault must sound most inviting. After years, or in some cases lifetimes, in slavery your group of wandering escapees have gone many months and many miles without a true feeling of being home. While the vault is not home per say, it is a safe and welcoming place free of titanspawn and demonic taint, and free of shackles or overlords – a place where you can finally rest in peace and comfort and perhaps ease some of the road-weariness from your bones.

Enjoy the respite, for the road still beckons. Kytex still has dreams of the evil he could eradicate from the world with the blade Wicked’s Edge in his hands; he still recalls the invincible feeling he had when the blade’s power surged through him; and he still recalls the vanquished evil ogre cowering from the wrath of the blade and its wielder.

That cursed sword has set in motion a path of righteousness. For you there is still evil that lurks and awaits; there is still Madriel’s deeds to be done and the vengeance of Tanil to be spread far and wide. Where darkness reigns your paths are now directed by moral, but rest and sanctuary, for now, are yours to cherish for a little while longer.
