Bio

Ajelja Lanich is smarter than the average door (provided that door can be pushed open).
Ajelja likes to hit things. It’s been her favorite thing to do since she was a child. The problem for her is that most things don’t stand up to being hit for long – she found herself consistently in trouble for fighting with other children. And adolescents. And at the age of 13 she stabbed a man twice her age in the thigh for calling her “proficient.” She screamed at him that she had nothing to do with fish as the guards hauled her away.
After that incident Ajelja’s parents hired her out as a bodyguard, a mercenary, and once as a bounty hunter. It is her parents who suggested she should join the expedition to the Prison of Sorrows. They might have heard that it was supposed to be safe, but she doesn’t remember and she doesn’t care. She would bet that there are things she can kill without getting in trouble in a prison.
If anyone was going to miss the prisoners, they wouldn’t be in the prison in the first place, right?
