Vardalon is the largest, most prosperous city in the northern tropics. It’s also the most corrupt city in the world, run by impenitent politicians, powerful crime lords, malicious businessmen, and even worse otherwordly entities. The citizens are largely powerless in a world controlled by fear, powered by slavery, run by bribery and carefully designed to grant power to only a select few. The city’s iniquity is so great that it has attracted the attention of a powerful entity bent on maintaining the balance of the world through any means necessary. A small group of Vardalon’s most virtuous citizens are gathered, tasked with ridding the city of its prevailing evil. With limited resources, dominant opponents, and the ever-looming threat of cosmic judgment, can these heroes save the city from itself?
