Eoa, A world of termoil and mystery

Eoa (eh*oh*uh) is the name of the world you live in. Along with your friends, family, and/or colleages you have watched the advent of the new steam technology with open eyes and expectant heart. The power of this new technology has seeped into various areas in society, steadily but surely changing the traditions and age-old ways by which you have lived your life. Various opinions of this new technology exist, but nonetheless it is coming. You yourself may have one or more reasons to detest this Iron intruder, but then again, you might have equal reason to adore it.

The Roma (humans) are the proprieters of this movement towards the future, along with the Dwarfs, whose strong arms and stronger wills give the movement the strength it needs to advance through difficulty and opposition.

The Gaians, age old defenders of the world order, seem to want no part in the growing motion. already all but resigned to their thick forest canopies, they accept all who wish to purly worship the ways of old.

The world is filled with different kinds of people, different races of folk who share different opinions on the way the world is moving. Some violently so. Tensions are begining to rise between the Roma, and a neighboring kingdom of the old ways, known as Reihelm. Reihelm is the home of the ‘ratlings’ as the Roma call them. Reihelm’s formidable Traditionalism and Nationalism is in constant strain against the Roma’s desire to introduce the technology to them. The Ratlings have resources and abilities which the Roma desire for their advancement, and thus they are very forceful in their negotiations with the Ratlings. The strong nationalism of the Roma of Dolona and Ratlings of Reihelm have caused conflict many times in the past, and it seems it’s heading that direction again.
