Description

Bio

gothmog was one of the members of Gedregs clan when Gedreg pronounced his dedication to Gruumsh and plucked out his eye. Gothmog is the only other survivor of that particular group, all the others have been killed in the service of Gedreg.

gothmog is large for a orc mostly in size. He has been nicknamed small giant by many of his people. Gothmog is a traditionalist orc in many ways. Although completely loyal to Gedreg, he dislikes the use of many of the other races that his leader uses. His philosophy is Orc first, last and always. Anything else is to be used for slaves or to be sacrificed to Gruumsh.

Gothmog also dislikes Gedregs ally Malhaut. To Gothmog the horned one only speaks in flattering praises for his companion, and it rings false to Gothmog. He doesn’t question his companion about Malhaut as it would bring conflict between him and Gedreg. gothmog isn’t quite the stragetist that Gedreg is and this has been hard on him. In addition there are reports that the dwarves were marching to the elves aid.

The war has not gone well for Gothmog. Although he has the larger army, the terrain that he has been forced to fight through was much more difficult than what Gedreg had to fight in.

Gothmog finally had the fight he wanted against the elves. The orcs had found several large red lizard like creatures in the bowels of the earth and forced them to the surface and prodded them towards the elves. There were five of these creatures. One was slain by a group of non elves before the orcs could put them into the front. The others created much havoc among the elves and helped to defeat them. At the end there were only two of the creatures left.

However at the height of the victory came word of Gedregs death and at almost the same time, the dwarves had finally made their way down and pinned a defeat on the orcs near the elvish community of Conrandthane. Despite Gothmogs presence, the orcish front collapsed and began a retreat to the hills. Gothmog knew in his heart that Gedreg was betrayed by Malhaut and vowed vengance on him.
