Mechanic and Technician. Elvis’s nephew.

Slim’s family moved from a settlement in Cajon and into the Compound when he was a child. From an early age he began learning and helping build and support machinery and limited electronics for the Compound ’s needs.

Not getting out from the Compound much means that he hasn’t had much interaction with outsiders. He is not trusting of those from outside of the Compound and the region in general, but treats everyone fairly once they’ve proven themselves. Slim becomes nervous around women and tends to do whatever he can to please them, which has caused him to be taken advantage of – to which he is oblivious.

When he was younger, his free time was taken up by gambling or playing with explosives in the area surrounding the Compound . Those activities indebted him to some local thugs and also got him into a little trouble with his Uncle, Elvis.

During the last year he’s cleaned up his act and stopped getting into so much trouble, spending the majority of his time working in the Compound ’s garage. When he’s not doing that, he tries to find parts for and work on his new obsession with his friend Claudius to build a car, that Slim calls “Betsy”, for the purpose of getting out of the Compound and exploring the outside world.

Slim’s other noteable family member in the Compound is his cousin, ????. He has also started to become closer friends with The Junk Man as Slim and Claudius search for spare parts for the car.
