Bio

Much of Doro’s past before his transformation is forgotten to him. Fleeting glimpses of a loving woman catch him from time to time as well as, flashes of a great deal of violence. Since his change, he was sold to a tailor in Makoto and had lived there up until joining the resistance. He began to learn tailoring, or at least what little he could learn as a servant. His master, Niket Half-elven, treated him well but taught him little, if any, social etiquette. He was kept around the shop to do grunt work and tend to the manual labor as needed by his master’s wife, Jenna Half-elven.

While the master was away selling products at the market, his home was broken into by an elf, sent to harass the couple. Doro manifested his blade for the first time in front of his half-elven mistress, who was shocked at her slave’s “magic” ability. The assailant fled, not wanting to be injured by some human freak. Later that evening, authorities came and arrested both the half-elves, for apparently training a human magic and Doro, for being a violation of elven law.

While awaiting his execution, Doro was rescued by Darrow Half-elven, who had caught word of his talent on the street. He was introduced to the Resistance and has loyally served under Michuru’s guide ever since. Recently, he was assigned to a group taking care of assignments in coordination with the more trained members of the resistance.

Emotions have become a foreign idea to Doro. He still feels them, but in a much more muted manner. He harbors no ill feelings toward the elves as a whole, but dislikes the manner most treat humans and other races. Every individual should be given the chance to prove their worth to the society and then work accordingly. He finds little use for religion, but respects the powers that be as a whole, as they have shown they are capable of great and wonderous things. He feels it is more the faith the individual places in that divine power that grants them power and not always some worshiped being handing it out.

He has chosen to take up the role of defending the detachment. While he tolerates the insults from his elven companions, the lack of respect or graditude being shown for his service in protecting them is beginning to grate on him.
