Gwenhundra was born in the plains between Pavis and The Gallamar Hils. She is the only child of Taren human father adn Ovak orcish mother. Gwenhundra was a typical wild child even though both your mother and father were both gentle. Ovak worshiped Luthic the orcish god of fertility. the orcs in the area did respect Ovak and left the family alone although the young males tormented Gwenhundra until she became berserk and trashed the young males. She was left alone for the most part after that.

Ovak died in a accident and Taren took Gwenhundra to a cave near the farm. It was there that Taren told Gwenhundra of her mothers past. She was actually a leader but not the tribal leader and he told him that he was attacked in his youth by orcs being led by Ovak. He was acquiting himself well until he was hit in the back of the head and went down stunned. When he reawoke Ovak was standing over him driving away the other orcs. She looked down and swung her axe and drove into the ground next to his head. Picked him up and carried him into the cave and tended his wounds. Taren was puzzled by the look on her face. He never figured out why he was spared and Ovak never told him but they remained together till the day she died. Taren handed Gwenhundra the axe and said it was Gwenhundras to keep. He felt it was time for her to leave for it would not be safe for her there after her mother passed away. Taren introduced Gwenhundra to a friend of his that she had seen a couple of times in her youth. The ladies name was Yvette and she was ranger who then instructed Gwenhundra in the arts of combat.
