This elaborate golden key is nearly ten inches long. It does not fit any earthly lock. Upon speaking the commands engraved on the ornate handle an extra dimensional portal is opened. Creatures may be trapped there against their Will (Save DC 14).

This key was found in Prince Caradoc’s study, in a small wooden box under a glass dome. When the command word was spoken a small devil from the world beyond appeared and was slain by a crossbow bolt between the eyes. The older history of this key is not known, nor are the conditions of the dimensional portal.
