Malhaut is collector of warrior souls, fighters,rangers, barbarians, etc. His particular area of Beldorn is the west coast and he travels up and down the coast looking for souls that would ensure his movement up the power ladder. He usually promises something for his victims, allowing them to succeed, usually through their own ambition and then finding a tool to do them in.

One of his more useful tools has been Lothar of the stormcrows. He orginially provided Shingo of the Rokan with the promise of complete power of the Rokan on the West coast and then making the suggestions and connections to allow him to do so. He also spoke with Lothars mentor Brant who wished destruction of Shingo, so he gave Brant the ability to make lothar a ghost walker to avenge Brants death and took his soul in payment. Brant got his revenge on Shingo when Lothar killed him also for his revenge for witnessings Brants death by Shingo.

Gedreg was also put on the path to ultimate power and had achieved more than any orc in history when his untimely demise was brought forth by Lothar.
