Dutybound to follow the commands of the captian of his regiment of the Honorguard, Lauchin was torn when the former paladin became a Blackguard. He had the option to live as a bandit and go agianst his values, or break his oath and live in shame. He chose to live as a bandit following the orders of his former captian.
