Bio

Satmus grew up in a large, highly organized grey elven society, where all physical, social and intellectual needs of every member were met through cooperation as well as mastery of the arcane. This society so impressed planer travelers that it became a nexus point and sanctuary for all good and lawful travelers. Eventually an organization of planer apostles, spreading good and order through direct intervention in the affairs of other planes developed. This order created a great deal of debate in the grey elven community. While grey elven superiority was never questioned, the debate centered on what grey elfs ought due with their natural gifts. Do they share a responsibility to remedy the other worldly barbarism of other races, or would such involvement corrupt grey elven blood and ideals? While recognizing the natural advantages of being born a grey elf, Satmus does not condemn nor ridicule the lesser races; he instead feels pity for them. It was this pity which led Satmus to join the unnamed Order of planer interventionists against the will of his mentor. As a scholar of some note, Satmus was selected to travel to a plane which has long perplexed many grey elven anthropologists. The inordinate number of half breeds indicated to Order scholars that this was a matter that required more discovery, for fear of a chaotic intelligence with power which may rival their own. His primary objective is to gain intelligence on any chaotic planer forces, and destroy them if possible. He also seeks to establish contact with other notable archanists.
