Bio
Short, even for a halfling, Adon found all the freedoms that it can bring. He revels in his short stature and the assumptions of the tall-folk when he pilfers them. His dark skin, eyes, and hair lend themselves perfectly to his “nightly” ways, and he takes full advantage of them.
Not talkative, but definitely not self-conscious, he knows that he is living on the edge of society and isn’t willing to risk capture/jail/torture for anyone or anything. He learned at an early age that powerful friends make for a long and easy life. Hence he also tries to find “the Guild” everywhere he goes.
He has yet to tell anyone where his spendthrift ways began, but knowing Adon – there is a tale behind it.
“You want to know about me? Why? You can’t prove it was me, ya’know.”
Having never lived an honest day in his life, Adon lives on a paranoid edge. He’s stolen more gold than most adventurers can dream of. Only problem is, drink and women aren’t cheap, and the money doesn’t last long enough. It’s not like he means to hurt people, as far as he knows – only 3 people have ever been injured by his hand. There’s just so much gold that people think they need, and they really don’t – but Adon really does, so he uses it as it rightly should be spent. Making his life easier. After all, why does that “noble” need silver candlesticks instead of wooden ones anyway?
Well, as is bound to happen in just about any eventuality, Adon filtched as much as possible in his last town to the point that suspicion was arising – and his cue to move on. The adventuring life is not an easy one, and therefore one that Adon doesn’t care to stay on for long periods – but if people are willing to part with their gold in his favor, what’s the harm in that?
