Zanorin lived a normal life for his childhood years. His father was a blacksmith and his mother took care of him in a small village in southern Thrane. When Zanorin was 16, the small farm they lived on was attacked by several starving werewolves. His mother was slain by the werewolves, his father wounded. He became a werewolf during the next full moon. Several months later paladins under the flag of the Silver Flame discovered their small farm and Zanorin’s father’s affliction. While Zanorin begged for his father’s life, the paladin’s cut his father down with their silvered blades. Zanorin fled the farm for Karnnath. He swore to the Dark Six that if they would help him get revenge for his father’s death he would serve them until death. He spent the next 4 years training. He fought his first battle in the Last War for Karnath, slaying many Thranish. He became known as Zanorin the Black on the field of battle as he wore pure black field plate. Now that the war is over he sells his services to whoever can help him attain his highest goal: the obliteration of the Church of the Silver Flame.
