Barquil was charged with training several warforged to become scouts for the Breland army during the Last War. One of these warforged is now known as Watcher. During a training session several undead ambushed them (they were on the way to assasinate the King). Watcher was subdued and when he awoke members of the King’s Guard were tending to him. Barquil’s lifeless body laid near-by. Apparently the undead were killed as his last act before death. Several years later Barquil reappears and explains he was resurrected by clerics of the Sovereign Host. He received training as a cleric and joined the Dark Lanterns.
