Stained Axe is a Dwarfen Waraxe, made of a strange reddish metal. Along the metal haft Dwarfen runes whisper: “With a stout heart, a mouse can lift a giant.”

During his coming-of-age quest, Dorak Grimface forged this axe out of remnants of other weapons he found in the abandoned Karak. For almost a whole year, Dorak worked fervently under the guidance of a ghostly image of a fallen Dwarf. As if possessed, his hands beat the metal into intricate designs, far exceeding his own skill and knowledge of the Forge.

And then, when the last strike of the hammer rang through the caverns, the axe was finished, and the ghost was gone. Was it a dream? Was it fever and hallucinations? Perhaps divine inspiration? Dorak might never know for sure, but one thing is certain, and it’s the fact that the weapon is a masterpiece worthy of an aged Kunstr Master.

The Axe is metal-red, with black and gold veins running through it. The head is intricate and somewhat impractical in that it takes effort to clean the blood and dirt out of the detailed patterns. It never dulls however, posessing strength beyond iron and steel.
