Switch is a type 3D-4 administrative droid, programmed with a male personality. Somewhere along the line, he seems to have gained his independence. Based on Sel Zonn Station, Switch gained a well deserved reputation as an information broker, and was in the process of starting what essentially amounted to a crime ring. However, a recent encounter with a rival who had secretly bought out all his henchmen has set him back, and possibly driven him off the station.

Switch has a nearly constant companion in the form of a blue and red astromech droid, R5-B8.
