Father Benedict is an acolyte of the kraken Melgrath, and one of very few denizens remaining in the town of Innsmouth, on Ipswitch Isle. He is demi-human, though his race remains unknown as he maintains an illusion spell at all times.  He appears as an old man, hunched with age and wrapped in tattered priestly vestments.
