Bio
- Shansur comes from the Shriikirri-Quah. (The Clan of the Hawk)
Your clan ranges far in its travels, from the Gnashers to the Churlwood. It’s members hold great respect for animals and claim to learn much from their ways
Named at birth Ar’un’Kar, you are the son of the clan leader, Ar’ant’Kur, the eldest. A great hunter, a great leader, a Shoanti of great honor. As his eldest son, you were raised as his heir. Receiving the benefit of his knowledge of men and how to lead them, already you have many of the tattoos that most Shoanti receive later in life. They are heralds of your bravery and feats of skill.
When you were born and as you grew, there was no hint of your mixed ancestry, but as you matured and puberty began to take hold, some elven blood, mixed in from somewhere in your past began to manifest. You did your best to hide it, and you prayed to Gozreh, your god, for deliverence from the changes that began to overtake you, but soon there was nothing to be done. The was no way to hide your true nature as a half breed. Although Half Elves are accepted into the Shoanti Tribes, they are never accepted as leaders. One night, your father and tribal shaman took you out alone on the prarie. The shaman said that the changes in your body are signs from the gods that your life journey now lies upon a different path than before. It was decided that you must part with the clan, find that path and fullfil what destiny the gods have layed before you. You were sent away that night.
You wandered for months, finally ending up near the Mierani forest, the elves ancestoral lands. Taking some pity on your plite, they took you in and helped you understand the changes that had overtaken you. A Mierani Elf Ranger named Sadriel took you as his apprentice, teaching you the ways of the forest. To embrace your new identity, you took a new name, Shansur. (What do you want it to mean?)
