Lefty was concripted to be a pirate when the villinous Captin Slipknot Pete attacked his vessel on the high seas. He was one of the few to survive the attack and the only one to survive the gruling torment Slipknot put his friends through. He was also the last one to survive Slipknot's illadvised battle against the people of Farshore.

After Joe Talls cast a charm person spell on him to  make him reveal details about theCrimson Fleet, Lefty decided to follow Joe,beliving the Halfling can keep him safe. Joe has currently put him to work in the forges of Farshore doing meanial tasks and training him up
