Janine Rochoford met Leo H. Danforth during their High School years. They were both well versed members of the Debate Club and despite the rumors of them being “a couple” they were just really close friends. They could stop being their “outward selves” while with each other and just talk about anything and everything. Nothing was too crazy. Janine looked at Leo like the older Brother She never had. Her job working for the Ministry of Environment took her out of the Province frequently during her first years as a Biological Inspection Agent. Her background in various sciences and types of airborne pathogens was vital during the SARS Outbreak. She currently is working closely with the Ministry to track the Asian or “Bird” Flu’s migration. Losing Leo at a time in her life when she has just re-settled down in Toronto has been a hard thing to cope with, but she has Max.
