A magical researcher and uncle of Roland. After a mysterious disappearance and bout of strange behaviour, Bedrich was witnessed comitting a series of murders in the alleys of the slums. The party confronted him in the basement of his house, but accidentally killed him before they were able to get any answers. The bundle of tentacles at the base of his neck, the mind-flayer construct at the bottom of his well, and the pile of trinkets and knick-knacks found in his house do little to illuminate the mystery. Nor do they explain why his victims were all missing most of their vital organs.
