Retired member of the Council of Wyrms, Illyndryl and her mortal followers, the Claw Tribe, had receded into hiding in the caves of the Great Mountains. In her aged state, though very wise, she was unable to participate in the rigid battle with the chromatic dragons of the Lower Draconic Nations.

After the fall of the Higher Draconic Nations, Illyndryl and her people were eradicated by the massing army of undead. Eventually Veral and his comrades discovered the remaining claw tribe in the form of zombies as they fisted upon the corpse of the gold dragon. They quickly departed the cursed souls, and provided them, and their mistress, with proper burial.

With the permission of Veral (the sole survivor of the Claw Tribe), the party utilizes Illyndryl’s treasure horde to equip themselves for the upcoming quest to overthrow Xaxoth.
