Hailing from Frannith, Romlynn the Wise is a legendary figure among wizards and mages. Though mortal, he has managed to survive for over 3000 years. He is most well known for having aided in putting an end to the great Human-Dwarven war over two thousands years ago by chartering a treaty that prohibited either the Dwarven or Human empires from inhabiting the westernmost part of Frannith (today known as the Badlands).

In actuality he is not three millennia old. Over thirty centuries ago he created a very powerful magical device that suspends him in time (much like cryogenically freezing himself).

He founded a secret order of wizards who maintain and protect his tower, and when needed or requested, “re-animate” him. On average, and at his request, the order will awaken him once thirty years, where he spends a few years studying the newest advancements in the arcane field. Though, in times of great trouble, he can be awakened at the request of the Frannith Royal family to aid the kingdom and those in need.

He is hailed in history as one of the worlds greatest diplomats, as well as a powerful wizard and master chronomage. He has joined the party, and helps lead them in recovering the seven ancient stones.
